I'll talk a story about an experience that
made me feel proud. When I was an elementary school student, I belonged to a
badminton club for three years. The reason why I belonged to the club is that
my friends advised me. Some friends of mine were in the same club. I just
enjoyed playing badminton, so I didn’t give full play to my abilities in the
beginning. So I lost the game many times. I was chagrined at the losing the
game each time, and I wanted to be strong. After that, I tried practicing it for
many hours a day and played a game with my teacher and friends. Of course, they
are much better than me, but I never gave up. And my parents had the time for
practicing it with me. Without realizing, spring had come. It was a season that
the last game we could join was hold. Surprisingly, I and my partner won the doubles
title. I was very happy! I thanked to my teacher, friends, and parents. I think
efforts are not a waste of time. This is my experience that made me feel proud.
I will never forget this.
I'm glad you saw your efforts gain success for you. However, I also think our efforts are worthwhile even if we don't see success because making an effort helps us to grow into more complete adults.
