Learning with computers has good points. First, it is very useful. If you want to research something you are interested in or for academic work, you can find them soon on the Internet. Also, it is convenient to use, because computers can share files, communicate by e-mail, access to much information. Second, we can do our academic work on PC. Computers has official tools, for example, Words, Excel, and Power Points. They are important to study and hand in our report to our teachers.
However, it has bad points. Using computers for too much hours makes you tired. It is not good for your health, and can fall your eyesight down. Also, it makes you suffer from a stiff neck, and have a bad posture. People tend to use them for a long time when they study and learn on PC, so please pay a attention. In addition, It is difficult to carry wherever, because PC is so heavy and big a little bit. There is what is called note-PC, so it is useful to have.
Kumamoto Gakuen University has a lot of computers. There are in the library, e-campus center, and classroom of LL, so the students can use them easily. In e-campus center, you can rent the note-PC , so you can do use computers at your home, study, and do your homework. It is glad for the students to be able to use computers whenenver and wherever.
The students of department of foreign language have a lot of work. They do their homework everyday, and every week. As writing classes,they should post essays, book reviews, movie reviews, and diary posts. Also they do typing homework to improve their typing skills. In addition, they do Power Words as Reading classes for vacabulary, study by English Central for video viewing and speaking practice. They are not difficult, but hard to do everyday. It is good to pile up things even a little bit everyday.
Computers has entertainment functions, but they can be materials to study. For example, You can use YouTube. You can just see the movie, but you can and study if you see the movies with subtitles or lyrics. It can be listening, and vocabulary practice.
There is a world of the Internet and computers. Learning with computers is good for everyone. You can use computers and be clever more and more.
