My Trasure

Let me introduce my treasure. It is my pet. Her name is Hina. I call her Hina-chan. She came to my house on May 2 in last year. The reason why her name is Hina is she was born on March 3. The day is what is called Hinamatsuri in Japan. It is held for all the girls, and she is a female animal, so my mother named her.

In fact, at the time, my family members don’t want to have a pet. I think if we have an animal in a house, we use a lot of money and she makes something dirty. We understand that well, but we know a pet is cute and healing, so we wants some chance to get a pet for free or someone hand over us.

One day, my mother was reading a newspaper in the morning, and she was surprised! There is an article which says, “I will hand over dogs for free.” It is by an old man and his family who lives near my house, and a few dog were born. But they couldn't care them because he was old, so they were searching someone have the dogs instead of them. So my mother called him, go to his house and see them, choose one dog, and take her to my house.

She is a crossbred dog. Her mother was a kind of schnauzer, but her father was not clear what kind of a dog is. It is comfortable to touch her, because she is covered with her hair and it is soft. Her hair color is black, brown, and white. Also, she has mustachios. It is like an old man, and I feel it is so cute!

I’m always together in my free time when I’m in my house. I walk her on sunny day. She likes going out, seeing the outside scenery, and running around. When I take her outside, she looks happy very much. Called her name, she always comes near me. She is so cute, and she makes us happy.

Corrected Essay 1-01

I couldn't get a credit for 2nd Writing Ⅲ, because I didn't do my homework often
enough. Students had to write 10000 words and do 15 book reviews. I wrote about
8000 words, so it was the lack of words on my blog that was the big problem. Also,
I did just 12 book review.

I had taken the Paul's class. He is kind, and good to teach us English. I could learn
a lot of things about writing essays. He taught us English grammar, spell, and
pronunciation.

I wrote a lot of essays. The topics were about 'dear host family,' learning with
computers, what I think about languages, my work place, and other topics.

I have a computer in my home, but my father uses it for his business. He uses the
computer in his office, so I cannot use it freely. Also, I always use the computers in
my university. KGU campus has a lot of computers. They are in the library,
e-campus center, and LL class. I usually use the Internet in the library, because it
is quiet and calm. It is easy to study and do my homework there for me.
According to what I said, I only did 12 book reviews because I didn’t have any time.

However, I like reading books so much. My favorite book in English garden was
'The Little Mermaid.' I think it is fun for the students who like to read books to do
book reviews.

Also, I think it is important to start your own homework early and do them
completely. If we postpone and start slowly, we will be so busy later! So I
recommend starting early and taking the class if you want to feel good about taking
Writing Ⅲ. Of course I will start my homework and use my time better.

BR 1-01 : Wizards

I choose 'Wizards' for my first book review, because I am interested in wizards. This book is consisted of three chapters. I like chapter 2. It was about one man. He is old wizard, so  he doesn't use magic anymore. He looked after children, and he was respected by them. They wanted to use magic, so learned by him. One day, a robber tried to make an invasion, but the wizard stopped him with his magic. Finally, they held a Christmas party with everyone. It looks happy.
If I can become a wizard and use a magic, I want to be the rich, and use money in my own way. I want to buy favorite things like clothes, accessories, books, fashion magazines, and so on.

Last Saturday, we went to 'Green Land' in Arao with people belong to circles of KGU. This is held for every freshman. There were a lot of entertainments by ｆriends. We enjoyed and laughed so much, and we rid some attractions like roller coaster. However I don't like that attractions, so I couldn't ride them. In the afternoon, we had lunch with everyone.
