Br 1-14 : The Story of Trains

Today, rail tracks cover most of the world, yet only two hundred years ago, they did not exist. Every day trains take people to work and on holiday. They can carry cars, crates or crocodiles and travel under the sea. This book tells the incredible story of trains and how it all began with a small engine and a wagon full of people. 
I use train some times, and think how useful way to carry every thing this is. At first time, train was smaller than now. Reading this book, I could know how train are made, used, and handed down to modern times.

I love chocolate! It's the reason why I choose this book. I read this book, but I didn't know anything about chocolate. First, chocolate is drunk from a thousand years ago, and it was a big secret. Only a few people drank it and nobody ate it. Second, chocolate is made of cacao beans. The drink is popular around the ancient people. Chocolate is drunk for a long long time, I knew that, I felt historical. I like chocolate cakes very much, and I want to have GODIVA someday!

Hello. Let me introduce my self. My name is Saki, and I’m 40 years old.

I worked as a cabin attendant at Aso Kumamoto airport. I had a dream in the past, so it was being CA and working at airport. I like traveling, so I have ever traveled a lot of places. I have taken a plane many times to go to foreign countries. Then, I admire people working at airport especially CA, so my long‐cherished dream has come true. I am happy to do my favorite thing.

I got married to my husband 15 years ago. His name is Ronaldo. I met him at Hawaii when I traveled there. He lived Hawaii, and he was walking the neighborhood, and I was going shopping near the hotel I stayed. But I lost my way, so I asked a man where the hotel is. My husband is that man. He is so kind and funny, and he is good-looking guy. He always makes me happy. Also, we live in Hawaii after getting married.

I have a son and a daughter. Their names are Toshi and Emi. He is 10 years old, and she is 5 years old. They go to International school near my house. Toshi belong to a soccer club, and he wants to be good at playing soccer like Ronaldo Christiano. He makes an effort everyday to win the next match. Also, Emi takes lessons in ballet. She likes a ballet very much. They are mischievous children, so I am tired of taking care of them. But I love them very much, so I always laugh and will never bored everyday.

Also, we have a dog. Her name is Anna, and the kinf of her is Chihuahua. She has a long hair. She is very cute! When I came home, she plunges to me like waiting my returing home. My hobby is walking her when it is sunny.

About three weeks ago, I was invited to a home-party by my friends. After my working a part-time job, I went to Kurokami on that day. My friends Mami came for me by her car, and we went to her house. Naoto, Shiori, and Misako had already arrived and made takoyaki. Naoto was playing the TV game. Shiori and Misako was cooking very well. Takoyaki was very delicious! I have a lot of memorial days, but I would like to talk one of the special days for me. It
was March 8 in 2005, and it is a day when I won the championship of the badminton
club for the first time. I remember the day clearly, so let me introduce my best day.

I joined a badminton club when I was a student of elementary school. The reason why I
belonged to the club is only because I was invited by my friends, not that I wanted to
play badminton. I had never played it before that time. We practiced every Wednesday,
but I lacked the motivation to play badminton. I thought I didn’t need to try practicing
and becoming better at it.

However, as time went on, I became to think I wanted to play it and be better more and
more. When I was in the sixth grade, I was told that I was good and would win the
championship. I had confidence in myself, but I couldn’t easily do as well as my wishes .
I regretted not putting my heart into practice, so I made more efforts.

The last tournament was held on March 8, and I took part in a doubles match with my
partner, Aoi. She was so good at playing badminton. We won the semifinal game
smoothly, but our rivals were powerful players. I and she lost the confidence for just a
second, but we remembered deciding to win the last championship absolutely. We
thought we were uncertain of our confidence, but never gave up and stick to the match
to the end, we could defeat our rival. We couldn’t believe we won them, being aware of
winning, and we became so happy and couldn’t stop crying tears of happiness.

I thought I was glad that I didn’t retire from the club. I will never forget this day.

The reason why I choose this book is that I like fashionable clothes and goods very much and wanted to know its history. This book explained why people wear clothes, what goods people wear in those age, how fashion became, how clothes people around the world like, and so on. I understood, in the ancient world, people often wear bronze helmet, leg guards, shield, and breastplate. It looks gorgeous. Also in Middle Ages, especially Europe like Rome, German, and Paris wear clothes look heavy and gorgeous. And I was surprised to know that little boy wear a lacy ruff, a dress, an apron, a bib and a cap like little girl and in France man wore a long, curly wig.

BR 1-09 : The Fairyground Ghost

One day, Jake Hubbard knew that the fair is held in his town. He was so excited, but his parents were very busy and had no time. His sister, Marcia, spent the whole time on the phone. Jake wanted to go the fair so much, so Marcia decided to take him with her boyfriend, Brad. But they left Jake alone and headed the Tunnel of Love. When Jake walk alone, he found a poster which was written the ghost train. This attraction made people scared, but a little ghost wasn't scary. Jake liked him, but because of his the funniest look, he must be tested. He is not good as a real ghost, so he was going to disappear from the store. So Jake invited the ghost to have some fun on the fair. They enjoyed many attractions, and they became friends. The ghost could go back to the store and scare the people thank for Jake. I dislike the ghost or horror story, this story was a funny story. I think it is interesting to exist ghost like him.

Now, I would like to tell you Pharell Williams. He is a singer in the U.S., and he is known for "happy" produced in 2013. This is the most famous song of his songs. The chance that I know this song is that Mr.Tomei introduced this song and movie in Writing class a few weeks ago. I had never known and heard this songs, but I became to like that right away. "Happy" makes us happy so much by its lyrics and the sounds. BR 1-06 : Romeo & Juliet

I did't know a detail of this story, so I wanted to read "Romeo and Juliet" so much. This story is romance and love story. Romeo and Juliet fall in love, but their families are bitter enemies. It was in medieval Verona, a place of sword fights, secrets and magic potions. Their tragic love story plays out to a desperate end. I think how sad this story is. The person who she loved so much died. I can't imagine how she feel sad. I have a boyfriend, so I wanted to treat him as precious as I can. This story tells us the importance of the life, lover, and meaningless of war. I could learn a lot of things thanks to this book, so I recommend this book to everyone.

The reason why I choose this book is because "The Monsters Ink" is popular for everyone in these days. Some children have a time because it is rain outdoor, so they are very bored. Playing games, drawing pictures of space men and monstrous aliens, anything cannot make them enjoy. Suddenly, a Ben boy catches up with the idea, which is to start a gang as a monster. They will have to dress up and look scary in Ben's grandfather's treehouse. The next morning, six monsters clambered into the house. They didn't know who they are each other, because they dressed up. Also, they enjoyed the monster's look and do something monsters do like real. The monster who is the real look, and can't move mask, ear, and skin. Thy decided who is Ellie and she is the best. But Ellie was there with different figure, and there are a letter in the room last. After they read, they were very surprised, because that was a letter from the best monster. In fact, he was a real monster!
